# Source error management

| Parameter                   | Description                                                                                                                                                            |

| Switch on ES data loss      | Switch to backup source if video or audio is lost.                                                                                                                     |
| Delay                       | The amount of time between the video or audio loss and the switch to the backup source. Needs to be defined if **Switch on ES data loss** is activated.                |
| Slate if no source at start | Display an image when live input is not yet detected. The replacement image can be defined in Video processing>Freeze frame management section (Media Processing tab). |
| Default frame rate          | Default frame rate used when live input is not yet detected. Needs to be defined if **Slate if no source at start** is activated.                                      |
