# Configure the decryption

## Decryption

MK.IO Beam supports several **Conditional Access (CA)** schemes for decrypting services from an
incoming transport stream. If the service selected for decode is encrypted (scrambled), a **locked padlock**
symbol is displayed next to the service name.

**Example**:

When the service selected for decode is successfully being decrypted (descrambled), an **unlocked padlock**
symbol is displayed next to the service.
