# Navigate the MK.IO portal

Use the portal navigation to find the resources for a workflow. The main groups follow the sequence from organizing source media to creating and delivering video.

## Select an organization and project

If you belong to more than one organization, use the organization selector in the top-right corner to switch between them. Select a project to work with its storage, assets, processing resources, and delivery resources.

## Organize media

The **Organize** group contains the resources that connect MK.IO to your media.

- **Assets**: Add media from connected storage, upload files, and manage asset filters. See [Assets and storage](/mkio/how-to/content-management).
- **Storage**: Connect the cloud storage that holds your media. The portal workflow covers Amazon S3 and Azure Blob Storage. See [Connect cloud storage](/mkio/getting-started/connect-cloud-storage).

For automated storage configuration, MK.IO provides an application programming interface (API) called the Media API. It also defines Google Cloud Storage registration through `Google.Storage`. See the [Storage API Guide](/api-guides/how-to/media/storage).

## Create video workflows

The **Create** group contains live and file-based processing resources.

- **Live Events**: Configure a live event, connect an input, and create live outputs. See [Live events](/mkio/how-to/live-streaming).
- **Video Processing**: Configure reusable transforms and submit jobs that apply them to input content. See [Video processing](/mkio/how-to/video-processing-encoding).

Transforms and jobs appear together under **Video Processing** because a job runs a selected transform against an input.

## Deliver and protect content

The **Deliver** group contains the resources used to publish and play media.

- **Content Key Policies**: Configure encryption, Digital Rights Management (DRM), and playback authorization. See [Content key policies](/mkio/how-to/drm-content-protection).
- **Streaming Endpoints**: Run the origin service that packages and delivers live or on-demand content. See [Streaming endpoints and playback](/mkio/how-to/content-delivery-publishing).
- **MK Player**: Test playback and integrate the web player. See the [MK Player Software Development Kit (SDK)](/mkio/reference/player-sdk).

## Monitor and administer MK.IO

Use the operational and organization areas for tasks that span individual media workflows.

- **Usage and Metrics**: Publish service metrics for monitoring. See [Monitor MK.IO services](/mkio/how-to/monitor-your-services).
- **Organization Settings**: Manage users, teams, API tokens, webhooks, billing, and marketplace subscriptions. See [Organization settings](/mkio/how-to/managing-your-organization).
- **Edge Devices**: Onboard and manage devices connected to MK.IO. See [Edge devices](/mkio/how-to/managing-edge-devices).

## Work with the APIs

Use the [API Guides](/api-guides) when you need to automate a portal workflow. The [Media API Guide](/api-guides/how-to/media) covers media resources, while the [Management API Guide](/api-guides/how-to/management) covers organizations, access, tokens, billing, and webhooks.

Generate credentials from **Organization Settings** > **API Tokens** before making an API request. See [Create API tokens](/mkio/how-to/managing-your-organization/api-tokens) and [API authentication](/api-guides/getting-started/authentication).
