Video down-conversion
The MK.IO Beam receiver is capable of down-converting video to 720p, 1080i or 1080p. The output can be delivered as either SDI via the ASI/SDI card, as SMPTE ST 2022-6, or as SMPTE ST 2110 via the 25G network card (MPK/HWO/PCI/NIC/25GDUAL).
To configure this down-conversion, follow these steps:

From the Home page, select the RECEIVER item from the required feed then click .

From the Parameters section, select the Output tab.
- For each output you can select no scaling, 720p, 1080i or 1080p.
- If the configuration type is UHD, scaling is mandatory on 3G SDI ports.
Supported conversions
The following conversions are supported:

Up-conversion (SD->HD or 720p->1080p) is not supported.
