Convert 1080p to 1080i

1080p to 1080i down-conversion

When fitted with the accelerator card (MKP/HWO/PCI/ACC/ENH), the unit running the MK.IO Beam Distribution is now capable of down-converting 1080p only to 1080i. The output can be delivered as either SDI via the accelerator card or as SMPTE ST 2110 via the 25G network card (MPK/HWO/PCI/NIC/25GDUAL).

To configure this down-conversion, follow these steps:

  1. From the Home page, select the RECEIVER item from the required feed then click .

  2. From the Parameters section, select the Output tab. You can either select No conversion or 1080i.

This will only work for 1080p inputs.
