Reliable Transport

Configure a Reliable Transport service

Although Reliable Transport is not part of the CE1 channel, you can temporarily add a Reliable Transport service and connect it at the back of a CE1 channel to perform Live Encoder, Multiplexer and Reliable Transport output.

To create a Reliable Transport service and configure it for SRT/Zixi/RIST as required, follow these steps:

  1. From the Services page, click Add service then select Reliable Transport.

  2. Enter a name for this service.

  3. In the Input section, set the Input Mode to UDP.

  4. In the Output section, set the Output Mode to SRT Caller.

  5. Configure the Network Interface, Stream Address and Port with the same information as the output Mux (see Configure the Mux).

Reliable Transport configuration example

  1. To delete such a feed, go to the home page. The feed will still be shown on the homepage, with a warning displayed. Click then select Delete feed.
