Configuring post processing

The encoder has post processing processes that prepare outputs for other products and components. Post processing is carried out after encoding processes complete and when outputs are available.  For example, post-processing can be used to automatically add the output asset in a MediaKind - Packager catalog.

Configure post processing option for packaging

A packaging catalog is configured and you have the Catalog ID from the catalog service configuration.

1. Edit encoding on-demand service.

2. Select the Post processing tab to display the configuration.

3. Click Add post processing.

   

4. Select the Post processing type.

5. Enter the packaging Catalog ID.

   The Post processing configuration is added for packaging.

6. Click add Post processing to create another configuration (up to 7 per On-Demand Encoding service).
