Decisioning

To configure the decisioning, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Decisioning tab.

  2. Enter and/or select the appropriate value for each parameter:

    TypeSelect Decisioning based on ESNI SCTE-224 audience.
    Use decision cacheTick to enable decision caching.Note: If enabled, you have to define the Cache TTL (by default, 60 seconds).
    Policy selectionBlackout decision is based on the policies that apply at a given time for a given media. The matching criteria may be By policy ID (default behavior) or By match time.
    Add SCTE-224 criteriaIn SCTE-130-3 placement response, in case of blackout decision, a core:Ext section in PlacementDecision is added. This section contains SCTE-224 data of the viewing policy which has triggered the blackout decision.
  3. In the SCTE-130/224 mapping section, click Add to configure the mapping between SCTE-130-3 placement request and ESNI SCTE-224 resources.

  4. Enter and/or select the appropriate value for each parameter:

    SCTE-224Select a value from the drop-down list.When receiving a placement request, only one placement decision is sent back if criteria matches. If SCTE 224 priority is defined the match with the highest priority will apply. Else follow the default priority order defined by the standard.
    SCTE-130Select a value from the drop-down list.

  5. Click Save and continue to save your changes and go to the Placement section to configure the Placement URL.
